Instructor insight

A military machine. Controls are harmonised but heavy. The 25kt crosswind limit means you can fly when everyone else is grounded.

Student experience

The 5-point harness and parachute are restrictive. Cockpit is very snug and gets hot. Landing gear is stiff—it thumps onto the runway.
